Chuck Castagnolo Back
Bridges to Jobs was founded after Chuck realized the majority of job support groups, although very good at providing networking opportunities and potential job leads, were sorely lacking in providing the training needed to effectively present oneself to an employer in a self-assured, polished manner.
With that realization, Chuck took his previous work experience in the area of financial literacy, professional speaking, training, seminar leading, educating and writing in a new direction by creating and designing innovative and motivating seminars and courses in career advancement specifically for Bridges to Jobs.
Having been active in the adult education arena for many years, Chuck partnered Bridges to Jobs with the Fremont Unified School District to provide career preparation to adults and the Tri-Cities One Stop Career Center sponsored through Ohlone College where he has provided training to career center members.
As a published author, Chuck's writings on interviewing, body language, the ADDIE training model, writing sensible job descriptions, creating a positive internet presence, professional portfolio development and financial literacy can be found linked to national and international professional human resources sites on the Internet, sited in several national university research papers and translated into multiple international languages.
Awards from his training and teaching career include a service award from the Fremont Union School District Continuing Education Department for his years of service to adults, from the San Mateo Unified School District Adult Education program, Certificates of Appreciation from Experience Unlimited for his contributions to their job and career search-training program, and the prestigious Parthenon Award from Heald College for being "The best of the best." of their national teaching faculty.
His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from San Jose State University and teaching credentials from the University of California.
