Frequently Asked Questions
What is Bridges to Jobs?
Bridges to Jobs is a State of California approved Adult Education program that focuses on career preparation by helping people acquire resume writing and interviewing skills to help you land that next great job. Through our Job Skills Workshops, we help members create better resumes and present themselves more professionally, both in person, and on social networking sites.
Our members are our network and we encourage everyone to share job opportunities when available.
Also in keeping with our policy of providing emotional support in an emotionally safe and supportive environment, we do not allow outside speakers at any time.
We work actively with the Fremont Unified School District Adult Education Program, through the Ohlone Community College Tri-Cities One Stop Career Center in Newark, and the Centerville Presbyterian Church in Fremont through their community outreach program where anyone from anywhere is always welcome.
