This is a session where members practice what they have learned in the series of classes related to interviewing.  Members bring a copy of their updated resume and a job description for the position they would like to have and are 'interviewed" for that position.  

During and after this practice members are critiqued on their style, delivery and answers with the intent of learning from the mistakes made during this session rather than making them and losing in the interview.

Because current job openings are attracting more candidates who meet the basic position qualifications, what was once a screening call has turned into a process as serious as a face-to-face interview.

Employers have raised the bar much higher for granting an interview and they want to see if you sound as good on the phone as you look on your resume.

This presentation will look at current thoughts and techniques of phone interviews and provide some tips and suggestions that may help turn what was a once a routine call into an interview.

Having a positive presence is particularly important in today's highly competitive job market.  

Having an internet presence means you can be found in a search, and being found in a search gives you a certain amount of credibility over someone who cannot be found or does not have a positive presence.

When you put your name into a search engine can you be found?  If the answer to that question is "No" be ready as the information in this session will forever change that answer to "Yes!"
